On 31 October Valiz and Girls Like Us Magazine present the new publication Love & Lightning at San Serriffe. In a conversation, Jessica Gysel and Sarah van Binsbergen will explain more about the book. Next to the book, there is another special item for sale. Come and discover, and drink a glass!

Love & Lightning is a collection of manifestos with a queer, feminist, or queer-feminist point of view. It presents manifestos from 1851 until now, divided into eleven thematic chapters, introduced in their socio-historical and geographical context, with many manifestos from Asia, Africa and Latin-America. Per chapter, the manifestos jump through time and place (and sometimes out of it). This way, the book shows the presence of tough theme's like sexism, racism, exploitation and patriarchal suppression. At the same time, it emphasizes the ideological connection between the authors and the manifestos
