It’s a Book is an independent publishing fair held in Leipzig on March 19th, 2022. The theme of this year's edition is It’s a book, it’s a word that you choose, it’s a language in use.
Apart from the book fair, It's a Book hosts a symposium and devotes special attention to book projects by students. The event wishes to be more than just a book fair and presents itself as a heterarchical publishing school and a place for knowledge expansion and exchange. Following last year's online edition, this year's book fair will be a hybrid event: the fair will be launched with a revised website for the marketplace and a live stream for the symposium.
