It’s a Book is an independent publishing fair held in Leipzig. It's an annual meeting of producers in the field of independent publishing, both online and on site at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig. The fair is a marketplace for publishing projects, but also for the exchange of ideas and debate. It's a spae that is open to all. Apart from the book fair, It's a Book hosts a symposium and devotes special attention to book projects by students. The event wishes to be more than just a book fair and presents itself as a heterarchical publishing school and a place for knowledge expansion and exchange.
