This year the Recreo Art Book Fair will be organized for the fourth time. The goal of Recreo is to create space for exchange, production and representation. Much attention is paid to the development of cultural activities and art publications from the Mediterranean region; but also to the development of a larger international network. Through the event, the organization aims to decentralize the focus on European design and pay attention to new languages of contemporary creation, strengthening the circuit of art book fairs in less-positioned Mediterranean countries. There is of course plenty of room for art publications on Recreo. In addition, the fair offers a stage to both local and international artists, independent publishers and other players in the cultural field. During this fair, parallel to an exhibition and the sale of publications, all kinds of other activities are organized, such as lectures, film screenings, workshops and other presentations. Valiz is excited to be back at Recreo and hopes to meet many of you there!
